Group born from spring to summerIt occurs from April to August around the coast of Honshu, the coast of Kyushu, and the Izu Peninsula. The amount of resources is small. Autumn born groupIt occurs from September to November from the northern part of the East China Sea to the southwestern part of the Sea of Japan. It migrates off the coast of the Sea of Japan, becomes large, and closes 70% of the catch in the Sea of Japan. Winter-born groupOccurs from December to March on the Pacific coast of Kyushu and Shikoku. Many migrate around the Pacific Ocean side along the Kuroshio Current, reaching the northernmost point. Most of the landings on the Pacific side are from this group.
